Mohana Rao Goli is a highly experienced Storage Firmware Development Engineer with over 12 years of experience in embedded firmware development across the storage and consumer electronics domains. He has extensive expertise in SSD controller firmware development in FTL and Media access layers, as well as a strong understanding of NAND datasheets. Mohana also has a good working knowledge of NVMe protocol firmware and driver development, and has experience in raid firmware and secondary caching algorithms. He is proficient in NVMe, PCIe, I2C, SPI, and UART protocols and has hands-on experience in debugging data corruption issues in raid and caching software. Currently working as a Firmware Development Engineer Staff at Seagate Technology, Mohana is responsible for the development of SSD controller firmware on FTL and Media Access layers. He has also worked on NVMe front-end firmware development for SSDs and Linux NVMe and PCIe driver support for hot plug. Prior to this, he worked at LSI as a Firmware Development Engineer Staff, where he mainly worked on raid firmware development for high availability solutions and IO caching algorithms. Mohana has also worked at Jasmin Infotech as an Embedded Software Engineer, where he developed firmware and low-level drivers for audio-video receiver products. Mohana holds a Master's degree in Communication Systems from NIT Tiruchirappalli and a Bachelor's degree in ECE from JNTU. He completed his secondary education from ZPH School, Cherukupalli. He has a strong technical background and is proficient in Frontend and Software Engineering. With a total relevant experience of 17.62 years, Mohana has hands-on experience in understanding board schematics and bringing up the boards, making him a valuable asset to any organization.
